China’s painting production line equipment began continuous development from last 70s, especially develop rapidly after reform and open, but basically it is in “ self development” status. Domestic painting equipment isn’t adjust to market demand and a lot key painting equipment is imported. It is estimated we have over a thousand painting production line and every year it will invest to construct several hundreds of new line; China invested over 1 billion on it every year and export sale& joint venture share 30%—40%; China has about 1 thousand painting equipment manufactory in total and domestic products variety now nearly cover all department in painting industry. Our painting production line development prospects are very attractive but there indeed are many problems in developing; so some suggestion as below is proposed for discussion.
(1)Pay attention to painting professional personnel training. Universities and colleges should set up relevant majors as per market demand; enhance training for current personnel and improve technology quality; strengthen investment in painting production line technology developing; survive the fittest for painting production line manufacturing enterprise and establish modernized painting industry management system.
(2)Due to painting production line’s percentage and contribution in national economy, it should build necessary public opinion to attach importance to national functional departments and industry administrative department which can conduct necessary macro-planning& professional guidance and give necessary support to industry development.
(3)Build nationwide painting industry information network ASAP to improve paint quality and enhance technology communication; organize and coordinate visit, research, digestion& absorption, innovation for imported project to make common efforts on painting equipment localization.
(4)Strengthen management in painting safety technology; implement relevant national standard for painting work safety rules; suggest to execute painting production line design and manufacture permit system; improve and perfect safety protection measures to guarantee production& personnel safety which is accord with environment-friendly requirement.
(5)Adopt new technology& popularize new paint; actively proceed technology improvement to original lagging in technology painting production line to make equipment’s non-standard design and production become standardized& serialization design and production to improve painting line equipment technology& production level. Using new craft, new equipment, new material; actively taking energy-saving measures and on-line checking; popularizing computer application on painting production line to improve production line mechanization& automation level; improve painting products anti-corrosion and decoration quality to guarantee painting production line equipment quality.
(6)Occupying the market needs cogitative scheme, marketing and service; achieve scientific management, advanced technology and excellent service. Painting industry design and manufacturing enterprise must be with one mind to enhance cooperation to serve better for users.
It’s our target to produce such kind painting production line which is compact structure, reliable, efficient, low noise, low energy consuming, low maintenance requirement and long service life; using qualified painting line to achieve excellent, qualified and to satisfy anticorrosion and decoration requirement painting. We should continue to research and develop painting equipment to ensure its technology integrity; strive for the best; make due contribution to our painting career development.
